Lorenzo Scanniello
Lorenzo Scanniello is an Italian pianist born in 2000 in Avellino. He studied at the Conservatorio Domenico Cimarosa in Avellino under the guidance of Sergio Di Gennaro and Sabrina De Carlo, graduating cum laude with honors from the Master's Degree program in Piano Performance. He is currently completing a Master's Degree in Chamber Music at the Conservatorio di Musica 'F. Venezze' di Rovigo, where he studies with Giuseppe Fagnocchi.
Throughout his musical training, Lorenzo has refined his artistry through masterclasses with internationally acclaimed musicians, including Jean-Marc Luisada, Bruno Rigutto, Donaldas Račys, Michele Campanella, and Bruno Canino.
Awarded two scholarships, he participated in Erasmus+ exchange programs at the Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy in Kaunas, Lithuania, and the École Normale de Musique de Paris – Alfred Cortot in France. In 2025, he also took part in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in Rovigo, collaborating with young pianists from across Europe, including Italy, Spain, Iceland, Lithuania, and Latvia.
Lorenzo is the co-founder of the Hammered Piano Duo, with which he has earned prizes at several national and international competitions, including the Ischia International Piano Competition and the Pietro Argento International Music Competition.
Beyond his musical career, Lorenzo enjoys traveling, has a passion for supercars, and is an avid sports enthusiast, particularly in tennis and archery.
