Kay Kyung Eun Kim’s <Soundscape> debuts

I am thrilled to announce that today is the release of Kay Kyung Eun Kim’s latest album of solo piano works – <Soundscape> – released on the Steinway label which features works by Philip Glass, John Corigliano along with my work “Three Passions for our Tortured Planet”.

This is a wonderful moment, as I originally wrote this work for Kay a couple of years ago; it has since spanned the world with dozens of pianists performing it as part of a larger climate change awareness program. I am grateful for Kay’s support of the piece and humbled to have it included with the companion works on her compilation. Below is a short teaser video she created with an excerpt from the third movement, “Winds.”
