Xijuan Zong is a U.S.-based pianist with an extensive performance career, active in major cultural centers such as New York and Boston. She began studying piano at the age of four and received her bachelor’s degree from the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in China, where she was awarded Third Prize in the Chinese National College Student Competition. She later completed her graduate studies in the United States with a merit-based scholarship.

Zong has performed at venues including Kaufman Music Center in New York and Pickman Hall in Boston, and her performance activities have taken her across major cities in the United States. She is particularly recognized for her work with contemporary piano repertoire and her interpretations of works by living composers.

Her performances have been featured in media outlets including Art China, New York Weekly, and Artist Weekly, where she has been recognized as a pianist with a distinctive artistic voice and expressive musical interpretation.

An award-winning artist, she has received the Gold Award and Most Influential Award at the Fresco Mélodie Sino-UK International Music Competition, as well as the Grand Award at the Apex International Music Competition. She was also selected as a distinguished representative of the Australian Music Voice International Arts Festival.

In collaboration with the European label Global Gate Music, she released her album Presence in Sound: Resonant Voices, featuring works by contemporary women composers. Through her performances and recordings, Zong continues to expand her international artistic presence. She believes that music has the power to resonate deeply with the human experience, creating meaningful emotional connections and leaving a lasting impression on audiences.
