Monica Ferrigno
Monica Ferrigno, Italian pianist and teacher, graduated from the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan under the guidance of Maestro Silvia Rumi and Maestro Edda Ponti. She specialized with Maestro Roberto Prosseda and later with Maestro Cristina Cavalli at the Escuela Superior Musical Arts in Madrid, where she obtained the Virtuoso Diploma.
Coming from classical studies, she graduated in literature with a linguistic focus, deepening the aspects of communication, sounds in language, language as a living and complex organism in continuous evolution. She studied NLP strategies for musicians with Maestro Federica Righini and Maestro Riccardo Zadra and modern piano teaching following the courses of Maestro Annibale Rebaudengo, exploring the theme of creativity and expressiveness through the instrument.
She has been awarded in national competitions including the Palma d'Or for the piano four hands category. She carries out her concert activity as a soloist, in four-hand duos and in chamber ensembles.
Always passionate about personal growth, she obtained the title of experiential and relational counselor, and has been studying for years with Dr. Erica Francesca Poli in the field of Ecobioanthropology, Salutogenesis and emotional-focused helping relationships.
She combines this profession in the world of music, deepening research on the topic of neuroplasticity, emotions and their somatic patterns, for an ever-greater integration of mind and body, fundamental to being better teachers and concert performers.
