Marian Ayala

Marian Ayala is a Spanish classical music pianist established in Vienna where she is completing a Masters degree under Johannes Kropfitsch.

She started her musical education with Tamara Harutyunyán Ter-Petrossián and received her bachelor degree at the Royal Conservatoire in Madrid studying with Elena Orobio. In addition, in 2020, she finished a Masters Degree in Piano Accompaniment in Madrid.

She has taken numerous advanced piano courses with prestigious teacher and professors such as Pilar Valero, Galina Eguiazarova, Szuszanna Császár, Giovanni Bellucci, Alexander Kandelaki, Josu de Solaun, Jura Margulis and Arkadi Volodos.

Marian has been awarded numerous prizes internationally and nationally. First prize in the competitions: “Ciutat de Carlet” (2007), “Ciudad de El Ejido” (2007), “Ruperto Chapí”, Villena (2007), “Ciutat de Xátiva” (2008), “Entre cuerdas y metales” Cartagena (2009), “Ciutat de Lliria” (2011), “Gabriel Teruel Machí” Benimodo (2019), “Ciutat de Xàtiva” (2020) and International Piano Competition, Romania (2021).

In addition, she has received other prizes: Honorable mention in the “Ricardo Viñes” International Piano Competition (2009), Special Award for the best Bach performance in the Ibiza International Piano Competition (2011), Second Prize in the “Aleksander Skriabin” International Piano Competition (París, 2013) and Second Prize in the Sevilla International Piano Competition (2021).

She also received financial support from the Galindo Foundation in Spain (2019). In March of 2021 she has received the “Cope Espuña” award for her artistic merit.

She has offered recitals both in Spain and abroad and has recorded with Universal Music Group in 2022. Among the concert halls that she has appeared is Auditorio Víctor Villegas, Auditorio y Palacio de Congresos El Batel, Teatros del Canal and Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando (Madrid), collaborating as a soloist with the Cartagena Chamber Orchestra, Murcia Symphonic Orchestra, Young Orchestra of the Community of Madrid and Cartagena Symphonic Orchestra.
