Fabrizio Datteri

Fabrizio Datteri is a distinguished musician who graduated with highest honors from the ISSM Boccherini in Lucca, where he later completed a Biennal Master degree cum laude. He has honed his craft under the tutelage of renowned musicians such as Konstantin Bogino, Bruno Canino, and PierNarciso Masi, and has furthered his studies at the Chigiana Academy with Joaquin Achucarro and at the Mozarteum Salzburg with Boris Bloch and Aquiles delle Vigne. Additionally, he earned a Master in Chamber Music from the Pianistic Academy of Imola, receiving a special award in 2002.

Datteri’s passion for Baroque music led him to graduate in harpsichord at the Conservatory of Florence, and he has since performed extensively as a harpsichordist with numerous ensembles. His talents have been recognized in various competitions, both as a soloist and in chamber music duos.

Currently, Datteri performs as a soloist and collaborates with esteemed musicians including Cristiano Rossi, Mario Ancillotti, Boris Bloch, Paolo Carlini, and Michele Marasco. He has worked with principal members of La Scala, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the S. Cecilia of Rome, and the Paris Opera.

His performances have graced prestigious venues and concert associations worldwide, such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Palau in Barcelona, California and San Francisco State University, WeinerSaal in Salzburg, San Benito Abad Theater and Sala Villanueva in Mexico City, Milli Auditorium in Istanbul, Victoria International Festival in Malta, Friends of Music of Pistoia, Camerino Festival, Festival Anima Mundi in Pisa, SaalamPalais, and Hochschule “F. Liszt” of Weimar. Additionally, he has performed for Italian Cultural Institutes in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Hamburg, and London. As a soloist, he has played with orchestras including Pomeriggi Musicali, Oradea Symphonic Orchestra, Mexico State Orchestra, and Filarmonica Istanbul.

Datteri’s discography includes numerous recordings for international labels such as Tactus, Da Vinci Classic, Brilliant, D&G Classic, and CPO.
